Students urged to acquire computer education

SUKKUR: District Nazim Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Tuesday asked students to get computer education to face future challenges.

"The education of computer is the need of hour. We must prepare our youth to meet challenges of the present era," Nasir Hussain Shah stated this while inaugurating a computer lab at Government Atta Hussain Shah Degree College, Rohri.

He advised the students to focus their attention on acquisition of modern technology and avoid using unfair means in examinations. He asked teachers to come forward to play their positive role in this regard.

Later, the Nazim attended annual prize distribution ceremony at MK High School. Speaking on the occasion, he said the district government is attaching top priority to the education and health sectors and a huge amount is being spent for their improvement.

Nasir Hussain said that the district government had allocated an amount of Rs 2.2 million for the development of MK High School. He announced a water cooler for the school. The Nazim also distributed prizes among students of the school.
